About Rotary Trimmers

Rotary paper trimmers cut paper differently than traditional paper trimmers. Rotary trimmers are distinct from other trimmers in that they can cut greater lengths of paper and newer models offer a variety of cuts other than just straight lines. You have more control with a rotary trimmer because you slide a small, two sided blade up and down the length of paper to make cuts. High-quality rotary trimmers typically make cleaner cuts than guillotine trimmers.

Rotary paper trimmers are widely used by photographers and scrapbook enthusiasts because of their slick, precision cutting.

Use the rotary trimmer for precise cutting with three different interchangeable blades: straight trim, deco edge, and perforated score.

A rotary paper cutter can easily cut through paper, plastic, poster board, matte board and more.

Commercial rotary cutters are available in electric and manual models and are designed to handle oversized material and to cut more accurately than small paper trimmers.

Rotary Paper Trimmers are manual or electric trimmers which use a rolling cutting blade to cut paper and material. In some models the cutting blade will cut in both directions of movement

Manual Rotary Trimmers are used when the length of the material you want to cut exceeds the maximum cutting length of the guillotine trimmers. New models of manual rotary trimmers have innovative features such as interchangeable heads that allow for a choice of straight, perforated, wavy or zigzag cuts.

Electric Rotary Trimmers save operation time by utilizing electric blade operation. They are built for environments with a high number of daily cuts or situations where the operator needs to have more hands-free and automatic operation. Just set your cut, press the button, and watch it cut. Foot-operated pneumatic switch drives the electrically run cutting head. This enables hands-free operation for the operator, who can easily adjust the material for fine cuts. Electric rotary trimmers are capable of handling a high number of trimming jobs with non-stop operations, enabling fast and accurate straight trimming of many types of materials.

Photo Trimmers Several cutters can be used as photo trimmers, but for quality purposes it is recommended to use models specifically designed for cutting photos.

Economy Paper Trimmers: Economy trimmers are frequently used in schools and churches .Economy paper trimmers have a traditional arm design and are the most recognized paper trimmers. These cutters are good for occasional paper cutting and can cut approximately four to 10 sheets of paper at a time.

Arm Cutters and Trimmers: The arm cutters are able to cut between 15-50 sheets of paper at a time, and it features an attached rotary trimmer for cleaner edges. Arm cutters while similar in appearance to economy paper trimmers, are designed for higher frequency and volume use.

Foam Trimmers: Foam trimmers are designed to cut through Styrofoam and mounting board. Foam trimmers operate similar to a rotary paper trimmer.
